Types of Fire Extinguishers

Water & Foam
Extinguish Class A fires (wood, paper, textiles) by removing heat; foam adds a blanket that starves the fire of oxygen. Not for flammable-liquid or electrical fires – ideal for offices, retail and general commercial spaces.
CO2
Displaces oxygen to smother the fire and leaves no residue, making it ideal for electrical equipment and server rooms (Class B and electrical fires).
Dry Chemical Powder (ABC)
The most versatile option, tackling Class A, B and C fires – well suited to warehouses, workshops and mixed-risk industrial areas.
Wet Chemical
Purpose-built for commercial kitchens (Class F cooking-oil fires); it cools the oil and forms a soap-like seal to prevent re-ignition.
